SCHUCKERTHÖFE AM TREPTOWER PARK // Revitalisation and Expansion - 23.09.2022

An urban district with an office and educational campus, community areas, art, food, and a sports hall is being built on the former factory site of Treptower Park in Berlin. The oldest structures are the listed machine hall and other existing buildings, all of which are being extensively renovated. These historic parts are being combined with new buildings to form a structural ensemble supplemented and connected by new courtyards and passageways. Recognisable by the ceramic façades, the new buildings act as a visibly autonomous constructive layer that adds to the gradual historical development of the area. Planning permits for the new buildings have been submitted for approval.
