REHEARSAL STAGE SCHAUBÜHNE BERLIN – The Schaubühne Berlin’s rehearsal stages are housed in old workshop halls. The roof space was available for use as the theatre cafeteria, with a reduced design that places full attention on the performers. A stainless-steel kitchen island gives structure to the long attic space, and two separable break rooms were also created. Wraparound seating with oak tables and chairs creates a homey atmosphere and frames the room along with the poster gallery above, which is visually doubled in the mirror frieze across from it.
