The TURN ON festival was founded by Margit Ulama in 2003 and has been held every spring since. Margit Ulama is an independent expert on nominations for the Mies van der Rohe Award. The Austrian Architecture Foundation is the shared open platform of the Austrian regional architectural associations, the Austrian Society for Architecture, and the Central Association of Architects in Austria.
