A real crowd-puller was the first solo exhibition of Syd Mead in Germany, which has been shown at O&O Depot since mid-November. 30 iconic drawings offered insights into the creative world of a great futurist and captivated the visitors with their depth of focus, elaborated down to the smallest detail. In the short documentary film shown, Syd Mead radiates a lively energy and carries the audience away with his enthusiasm for futuristic designs - one could almost think he was still there.

With the end of the exhibition we sadly bid farewell to Syd Mead, who died on Dec 30, 2019
at the age of 86. But his art endures and will move on.
