A large branched supporting structure spans the different and diverse uses of the new NMB and the future StABS and summarizes the two institutions into a whole, to a large figure. Culture and nature come within this common order in a symbiotic relationship. The constructive concrete skeleton wearing - simular to an ark Ark - combines essential content in different rooms ranked in the 21st century. From opposite directions the urban space flows from two entrances into the house and empties into a common spacious and open foyer for the top-level usages.
The public appeal NMB orients itself to the northern Vosges square and the local bus stops of public transport at the old train station of St Johann. The premises of the bar can be found further from the town square in the direction towards the city extending Entenweidstrasse.
